Dino Jahic is an associate in HR Law’s Jacksonville office. He has defended workers’ compensation claims since 2017, handling all facets of claims and litigation, including significant expertise in intoxication cases.  He enjoys the speed and variety of workers’ compensation cases and has a track record of rising to meet new challenges.

A native of Bosnia, Dino grew up in Jacksonville. He graduated cum laude from the University of Florida before earning his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law in 2015.

He spent four months in The Hague, Netherlands, working with the Trial Chamber III at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. He assisted the presiding Judges with evidentiary and legal analysis, as well as drafting of the factual subsection of the final judgment, on the foremost war crimes and genocide case before the Tribunal. During his last year at FSU, Dino served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable George S. Reynolds III on the massive Florida Department of Financial Services hurricane insurance suit, while also working at FSU’s Center for the Advancement of Human Rights on immigration matters.

Prior to joining HR Law, Dino worked at a Florida trial firm. In his spare time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, traveling, as well as attending concerts. He is fluent in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian.
