Brian Ricotta, who joined the firm in 2017, has a primary practice representing the interests of employers, carriers and claims-handling entities in litigated Workers’ Compensation claims. He represents numerous carriers and serving agents, including Progressive Insurance, Pie Insurance, Gallagher Basset, AmTrust and Broadspire.
Born in Rochester, NY and raised in Orange County, Brian is a graduate of Syracuse University, earning an undergraduate degree in Economics, Magna Cum Laude in 2014. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2017. Florida Trend magazine named him a “Rising Star in Workers’ Compensation” in 2022.
Accredited by the State of Florida as an insurance instructor, Brian is a frequent presenter on Workers’ Compensation law to clients and insurance industry groups. He is proud to serve as a Board Member of Kids’ Chance of Florida, a charitable organization that awards scholarships to children affected by workplace injuries by supporting their pursuit of education and helping them achieve their academic goals.
