Shareholder Rob Osburn is an Orlando native who joined the firm in 1998. He interned with the State Attorney’s office in law school, but since graduation, his legal career has focused exclusively on Workers’ Compensation defense. Rob represents a variety of employers, carriers and third-party claims handlers. His employer clients range from small to large, with some high-deductible programs, including pool builders, landscapers, and electrical and building contractors.
A proud double ‘Nole, both his undergraduate and law degrees are from Florida State University. Rob earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics, Cum Laude, in 1993 and his Juris Doctor, with Honors, in 1998. In between college and law school he managed a chain of restaurants, giving him first-hand insight on the challenges faced by employers.
Accredited by the State of Florida as an insurance instructor, Rob frequently presents continuing education seminars on Workers’ Compensation topics to adjusters and other risk personnel.
Rob traverses the contentious landscape of Florida college football easily, as he was raised in a House Divided, with parent grads from both FSU and UF. You will find him cheering on both teams throughout the season, but all bets are off for the annual FSU-UF game.
